For my photo class last semester I had to create a photo book as our final project. I have expanded on the original idea and made a few changes.

My photo book

So I went out venturing in the snow on one of the trails near my place today. I was bundled but it was not too cold -- until the wind started blowing. Here are some of my favorite shots I took -- I love how you can see the snow falling in some of them.

Since its so cold and snowy in a lot of places, I thought I would share these. I took these on January 4th at my sisters house. I love the reflection in the first and the frosty look of the second.

So I decided to play around with a few still lifes today. These will tell you a little about some of my interests. I took them with my Nikon D3200

On the advice of several friends I am starting this blog. I will mainly be sharing photos I have taken over the past few years and will be talking about things that I am learning or find interesting about photography.

In October of 2012 I was privileged to go to the Wudang Mountains in China for a month. Today I am sharing a few of the photos from that trip that have inspired me to learn more about cameras and taking pictures.

 These are just a few of the thousands of pictures that I took on the trip that changed my life. They continually inspire me to get out there and take and share more photos.  I plan to keep sharing some of the other photos that I have taken over the last year as I have studied and am learning more about taking pictures.
