Spring Flowers -- round 2

I ventured outside again on this beautiful morning and practiced with my angles and composition and just had fun capturing the beauty that is out there. I took a lot but these are my favorites and a mix of  a lot of different things .

These were close to my apartment. I love how the purple flowers are framed by the trees behind them. I had to get low to get this, but worth it.

Another of the flowering pink trees. I love how they cascade. So soft and pretty and they smell good .

Orange tulips -- and love that they are in front of the bark ...

These were in someone's yard. I love the contrast of the white against the dark leaves

This whole tree was covered with the purple buds. I love the shape of the branches and the green behind just adds to the beauty of it for me.

The top of the same tree above. Such fun shapes and soft color.

A pine cone -- the shape and texture was so fun and I love how the branches of the tree sweep around it, plus the boca in the background

Again this is about the shape and the lines. I saw this from a distance and knew I had to capture it. I love how the blossoms are right up against the gate..

Orange roses against a stone wall -- what could be better and the shape was just aweome

I loved how this section of the blooms curved. another must get shot :D

and a close up. I loved the color and the contrast

took these with my mom in mind. was happy I could get so close and the shape was awesome

a differnt angle. I love the swirl of the stem and love how much they look like little bells

More orange flowers. I love the texture and the contrasting triangle shapes in this

I love the swirl of the leaves behind this one

This is all about the puff ball on the top and the leaves below make a nice contrast. Such a fun shot

These were so interesting. I love the colors -- the yellow and purple just pop and then to have the little puff  from the cat tails made it even more fun

Usually purple flowers do not translate well, but this one did. I love the differnt levels of colors and the angle was fun too

These flowers were an unsual color and very interesting that they had a fuzz on the outside, and the green just adds depth to it ..

Very pleased with how clear the leaves on this came out. The multiple star shapes make it awesome

they looked like little grapes ...

tons of tulips. Loved the color contrast and taking the from above makes it seem like they never end

this is all about the red and white -- such a well landscaped flower bed

Pink petals -- so pretty and the shallow depth of field really highligts it

Can you tell there were a lot of tulips -- they were all so pretty but I especially loved the combination of the orange and yellow in these

Such a pretty purple-- and the light on the front one was especially one

I just loved the layers of different colors . Got down below them to capture the sheer number ..

More orange roses. This is all about the shape and I like the little rain drops...

This is all about the color and the shape -- the purple is so pretty and they look like little stars and then adding the little droplets make them shimmer

A really close up that came out very well -- I love that its a combination of buds and blossoms

a colorful leaf after the rain. I love how the drops look like they are just about to fall

These looked like tentacles so I just had to get a picture

More orange and yellow ( can you see a theme here) and the rain drops add more sparkle to it .

this is all about the color contrast. Love the orange and the blue together

Not sure whaat this is but I saw it in the grass and love the little white stars around it

Saw this tree and just loved the shape and the bit of rain brought out the contrast.

Thanks as always for sharing with me. I have really enjoyed playing with color and texture and even angles to help mother nature really shine -- and hey a little bit of rain will not stop me and in some cases yields really interesting results.
