Bellefonte Rail Trail
I loved the light on this part of the path -- it is so peaceful I could go there everyday
The patched of yellow flowers is what drew me to this part
Some purple wild flowers along the trail
and a closeup of them
We even saw a woodchuck -- loved how it crossed right in front of us
and let us sneak up close enough to get this shot
more of the purple flowers
an interesting tree along the path
almost looks like a hand print
because I love reflections
just love the woodsy feel of this one
Arboretum
a fun view of the spray at the fountain
these Iris were so pretty
love the water lilys
a flowering tree
loved the different shades of purple on this flower
and some pretty blue ones
walked around the pond and saw this reflection -- beautiful
peony in full bloom, loved the yellow
this one is all about the shape of the flowers
the buds are so pretty
I saw the light on this from halfway across the path and had to get a shot
really liking the buds
loved all the colors in this
this one is all about the pink and the blue sky behind it
more buds
loved the color of the light on the whole scene
ducks are everywhere
loved the lilypads -- it was evening so the flowers were closing up but I still liked it
this pretty little rose caught my eye
the long view as the sun was setting
at the duck pond
loved how still it was
A Thousand Steps
there was a nice stream on the way up
very pretty and peaceful
the steps were pretty steep
pine trees and pine cones were everywhere
another view of the trail
the blue sky through the trees
one of the views from the top
yup the stairs were steep
more views from the top
close up of some of the pine cones
more views from the top
we could even see a stream and the railroad
and saw a train going through
there is an old stone building up there too that was pretty cool.
Thanks as always for viewing my photos. I know there were a lot this time, but I 've had the camera out a lot over the last week . I'm definitely loving all the warm summer weather and being able to go out and about
